A Delicate Delight Get Inked with a Simple Small Orchid Tattoo

Simple Small Orchid Tattoo

Delicate Dahlias is a stamp set that you can get for free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration.  It is a beautiful stamp set that has outline stamps and DisINKtive stamps included.  DisINKtive stamps are patented by Stampin’ Up!® and create different opacities with just one stamp. They are truly gorgeous!

Stampin’ Up!® came out with a new set of Soft Pastels this year and these work great with DisINKtive stamps and Versamark.  You just have to ink up a stamp with Versamark on cardstock and use Stampin’ Up!® Sponges to add color from the Soft Pastels.  I used my Take Your Pick Tool to scrap off some of the chalk onto a piece of waxed paper, picked some up of the Soft Pastel Dust with a sponges and lightly dabbed the Versamark image.   I used a 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of Basic White cardstock and Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow Soft Pastels.  When I was done I cut it in half to make two cards.

Delicate

After I cut them in half I stamped the sentiments in Evening Evergreen ink and cut them out using the Layering Circles Dies.  Lastly I added a piece of Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Weave Ribbon.

Nutz About Stamping: Friendship

The flower image (large and small image) were stamped with Tuxedo Black on Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then colored them with the following Stampin’ Blends:

The greeting was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock and then cut with the Layering Circles Dies. I stamped a splatter image from Gorgeous Leaves with Fresh Freesia Ink and because there was a little smudging on the greeting, I added butterflies from the retired Butterfly Gems Embellishments.

I embossed the background cardstock with the retired Greenery Embossing Folder and then added a Vellum Cardstock panel to the front. It was die cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies.

Inside of card – I stamped off the image before stamping on the Basic White Cardstock. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I’ve shared several card designs that highlighted the Dainty Flowers Designer paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog, now it’s time to feature the star of the show!

The polka dot background paper comes from the Dainty Flowers designer paper but I kept it subtle to really showcase that beautiful bouquet of flowers.

I used the Fresh Freesia paper and Basic Black to make a bold statement because the beautiful flower bouquets in the Dainty Delight bundle are so delicate. I have just begun to play with this amazing bundle … In fact, I am hosting a class highlighting the best features of this bundle!

Addison:

I snuck the greeting out of the Flowering Tulips stamp set … I love this stamp, it’s one of my favorite greetings and I use it a lot. I used the Tuxedo Black Momento Ink pad on the greeting and my flowers.

Deep Thoughts Leather Chaise

The greeting was attached to the piece with the flower and then the entire piece was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It’s a pretty card that is easy to replicate … so have fun with it!

See the ombre color of the circle? It’s another of the patterns from the Sale-a-bration Dainty Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. The polka dots? They are one of the three patterns in the Vellum Basics 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. It’s a subtle addition yet quite lovely on my Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight card.
