By India Today Web Desk: The work of this tattoo artist from New Zealand is a visual treat and one can only be a fan of his lifelike inks.
Steve Butcher started tattooing in 2011 and was asked by a friend to try a hand at this art form after he saw one of his paintings. Started to learn all by himself, Steve got interested in illustrative and oriental tattoos.
He got his first professional job in a street shop in Auckland City but he gained attention only when his lifelike tattoos of celebrities from various fields went viral.

He has posted examples of his work which consists of tattoos of celebrities from the field of sports, music, and even films. Steve takes 12 to 16 hours to complete one detailed tattoo and for him pop culture is his biggest influence.
